MLE "Soft" Hardware Platform

This tutorial introduces you to the MLE "Soft" Hardware Platform, featuring the MLE1000 Rapid Prototyping System. You will learn how to configure the underlying hardware and software to match your application.

Connectivity Demonstration

Learn more about the flexible I/O connectivity of the MLE "Soft" Hardware Platform.
Find out how to integrate diverse peripherals, such as a DC motor, into the system and remote-control it from your Android Smartphone - live!

FPGA SATA Host Controller

Modern embedded systems demand for fast mass storage capacities.
Based on the Xilinx ML507 Development Kit, this tutorial shows an FPGA-based dual-port SATA Host Controller plus a full Linux software stack for accessing
Solid-State Drives (SSD).

Bemicro SDK Online Demo

FPGAs provide outstanding hardware design flexibility while protecting against hardware obsolescence. Integrate various soft-core microcontrollers and utilize the fully customizable peripheral set e.g. for DAC!
This tutorial shows how the MLE “Soft” Hardware Platform is implemented inside the BeMicro SDK. Testdrive peripheral functionalities like Ethernet, SD-Card or the MLE Delta-Sigma DAC.

ML507 USB Demo

In this tutorial the MLE Linux Software Stack is implemented on the Xilinx ML507 Evaluation Board. MLE's I/O flexibility is demonstrated by adding High-Speed USB 2.0 support to the ML507. Therefore we have implemented the XPS USB Host Controller and an external USB PHY. Experience new USB capabilities through MLE Embedded Linux!

ML605 Linux Demo

In this tutorial the MLE Linux Software Stack, as introduced in our Basic Tutorial, is implemented on the Xilinx ML605 Evaluation Kit. Explore MLE's Embedded Linux and the ML605 via common Linux commands!
